Our Life With Deerhounds

We and our deerhounds live on a small island in the South of Denmark with easy access to beaches where the hounds can play and run. We show and course our deerhounds when it fits into our schedule, but find the greatest joy in our daily walks together and time spent cuddling on the sofas.

Before we had deerhounds, we owned and bred Terriers, and our lifestyle has undergone a great change since then. Not only is our car bigger and our walks longer and more action-packed, we rarely travel without our deerhounds and have found like-minded friends all over the world.

At Wychway Deerhounds, we only plan to raise a litter once every three or four years when we have the space and time for a youngster ourselves. Needless to say, we hope that our puppies grow into beautiful adult deerhounds, but first and foremost, we aim to breed sound and healthy, gentle-natured deerhounds that make wonderful companions.
